Guided Tour to Torun

Visit the birthplace of famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus – Torun. This city is also renowned for its architecture. The old town of Torun, picturesquely situated on the banks of the River Vistula, retains its medieval street plan. You will see with us Old Market Square – heart of Torun historic district, Town Hall, Church of the Virgin Mary and ruins of the Castle of the Teutonic Knights. We will also show you the Crooked Tower – one of Torun’s greatest attractions, a part of the town’s old fortifications system. This medieval city was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

Tour schedule:

1. morning pick up from your hotel – exact time depends on you,
2. approx. 3 hours drive from Warsaw to Torun by comfortable car, accompanied by English speaking driver,
3. 2 hours of sightseeing of Torun with local private guide in chosen language

• Old Market Square – almost square marketplace, main attraction of the city,
• Town Hall – monumental building occupies central place on the market.
• Church of the Virgin Mary – The Gothic church from XIV century with wonderful Renaissance, oldest organ in Poland.
