Wolf’s Lair (Hitler’s Headquarters) Tour
Wolf’s Lair is located in the Masurian woods, near the small town of Ketrzyn in northern Poland, close to the border with Russia. During the World War 2 it served as Adolf Hitler’s military headquarters. It was one of a kind, truly hidden city complex with barracks, shelters, two airports, water supplies, power station, plants, railway station etc. The Wolf’s Lair was also the place where on July 20, 1944 an unsuccessful attempt to kill Hitler was made. It is estimated that Hitler spent over 800 days in the Wolf’s Lair and such outrageous decisions as the construction of concentration camps were made here. The demolition of the complex took place in January 1945. Today the ruins of the Wolf’s Lair are available for visitors so we offer you unforgettable day tour from Warsaw to see this unique place.
