Tour to Malbork & Gdansk

Malbork Castle is definitely one of the most important monuments in Poland, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1997. It is the biggest medieval brick castle in Europe built by Teutonic Order in 14th century. Its beauty comes not only from its huge size and design but also from picturesque location by the river of Nogat. Most of the pictures of the castle are always taken from the riverside. During our tour you will admire this fantastic view and you will also visit the Museum of Malbork Castle where you will see beautiful Gothic interiors and sculptures, collection of historic weapons, amber artefacts and works of artistic handicraft.

After sightseeing of the castle you will also have chance to visit Gdansk – one of the most impressive Polish cities. Its spectacular Old Town and unique atmosphere are something you will remember long time after your visit.

We offer full day tour by train with private transportation from Malbork Castle to Gdansk.

Tour schedule:

  1. hotel pick up  in the morning,
  2. transfer to the train station, receiving train tickets from our driver,
  3. 3 hours journey by comfortable train,
  4. meeting our local driver at the train platform in Malbork,
  5. short transfer to the Malbork Castle,
  6. 3 hours of sightseeing with audio guide in chosen language (possible in Polish, English, German, Russian, French, Italian and Spanish),
  7. private transfer to Gdansk,
  8. free time – about 1,5 hours- perfect for lunch,
  9. private guided tour of the city – approx. 3 hours,

You will see:

  • St. Mary’s Church – probably the largest brick church in the world,
  • the Prison Tower and Torture Chamber – originally built as part of the city’s fortifications, nowadays a habitat the Museum of Amber,
  • The Fountain of Neptune – historic fountain in Gdańsk which is a mannerist-rococo masterpiece,
  • Motlawa river and the Crane – popular view of the city,
  • Golden Gate – historic Renaissance city gate,
  • Green Gate – one of the city’s main attractions, situated between Long Market  and the River Motlawa,
  • Highland Gate – built in 1588, in the past the main entrance to the City of Gdansk on the west side, 
  • Artus Court –  impressive mansion, a real symbol of the city’s power in the 16th and 17th centuries,

11. 3,5 hours journey to Warsaw,

12. arrival in Warsaw and meeting local driver, transfer to the hotel
