Tour to Poznan

Poznan is one of the oldest and most interesting cities in Poland. In 968 it became the seat of the first bishopric in Poland. Today Poznan is second financial center after Warsaw and a major center of commerce. Annual trade fairs attended by producers and traders from all over the world have been held here since 1921.

During our tour you will see:

  • Piastowski Ostrow Tumski – oldest part of Poznan with its first Cathedral and tombs of first Polish Kings: Mieszko I and Boleslaw Chrobry
  • Old Market Square – surrounded by town houses with colourful facades. The great tourist attraction there is the clock tower of town hall, where at noon each day two clock-work goats emerge from doors 12 times to butt heads
  • Przemyslawa Hill with fantastic panorama view of the city
  • Caesar District with the Castle – former residence of Prussian Caesar Wilhelm II
